About Oreo
Oreo is a 2 year old male Kelpie x. This lovely boy came into care after a plea for help from one of our amazing vets. This boy escaped euthanasia by the tip of his tail. He had been in a pound for 3 weeks with another dog and was taken to the vet to be put to sleep. Luckily, Oreo managed to charm the staff at the vet clinic and they called us to see if we could take him. Sadly, his friend wasn't so lucky.
Oreo is an extremely loving boy. He loves to be with you no matter what you are doing. He walks extremely well on a lead, travels great and is quite the gentle soul. He does love to jump up on you for a cuddle so this is something to be aware of. He is a medium size dog who's all legs.
Oreo would be best suited to a home of his own.. He is inquisitive about cats and even though he doesn't show any threatening behavior, he has shown that he would chase a cat if it was to run.
Oreo is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped. worm and flea treated and vet checked.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
