About Honey
Meet Honey, a beautiful one-year-old pound rescue who is ready for her forever home.
Honey is a sweet and affectionate girl who has a gentle nature that will win your heart. She's a playful pup who loves nothing more than chasing squeaky toys and playing tug-of-war. She's also incredibly intelligent and eager to please her people, making her a joy to train. She already knows several commands, including sit, stay, paw, touch, and mat training.
Although Honey is great with kids and loves to play, she can be a bit picky when it comes to other dogs. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, so she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. Additionally, due to her size and energy, she would be more suitable for a family with older kids who can handle her playful and energetic nature.
Honey had a tough start to life and is still dealing with anxiety, but with the help of our volunteers, she's learning to come out of her shell and embrace life.
Since arriving at our sanctuary in Burbank last October, Honey has made significant progress, thanks to our dedicated volunteers. She's now happy to walk around the sanctuary and has even started scent training, which has helped to relax her. Honey is looking for an experienced foster or forever home where she can continue to build her confidence and learn to trust.
Although Honey is still anxious around new people and situations, she's a loving and loyal companion who will reward your patience and kindness with endless affection. If you're looking for a playful and intelligent pup who is eager to please and ready to learn, Honey may be the perfect match for you. Give her a chance, and she'll steal your heart!
