Nakusp is a very loving gentleman. He loves his walks and rides in the car. Nakusp does not react to other dogs charging at fences on our walks and wants to meet most other dogs who are also walking. He has been fine with most dogs but does need more training in socialisation. Nakusp walk better on lead, now that we are using a halti and is learning not to pull. Nakusp will sit (most times) when asked and has learned to wait for his food and also to go out the front door. His recall in the back yard is very good.

Nakusp loves to be with his humans and follows his foster mum around in the home. When out in the backyard he will happily sit or lay where he can keep an eye on us. He has been no trouble when we leave him home. Nakusp does like to curl up on the lounge chairs on occasion and his most favourite positions are up close for a cuddle and on his back for tummy scratches.
