Meelo has a full limited Pedigree
Meelo is a very loveable boy once he settles in, which does not take too long!
He would be great with another pup of a similar age to keep each other company, he enjoys toys and will play fetch with you anytime.
Meelo loves to walk although getting him out the front door must be done slowly, he tends to put his brakes on if he feels he is being forced or pulled on the lead.
First couple of streets he will sniff the ground non stop (His hound instincts are getting activated!) but then he will carry on and enjoy his long walks! He walks really well on the lead but will start barking at the sight of other dogs or people and bicycle riders - more of a scared bark than an aggressive bark. (The outside world can be a scary place for him, one day at a time!)
He is the definition of wireless door bell - he will definitely let you know when someone is at the door! He accepts people coming into the home but will greet/bark in a non threatening way.
He is great with other dogs as long as they want to play and they are a similar size to him.
Meelo is not food driven, although human food does the trick and he loves his veggies. He eats his kibble slowly isn’t too food focused and is happy to come back to his bowl later to finish.
Meelo is fully toilet trained, sleeps all night in his crate and goes outside to the toilet as soon as he is out of the crate in the morning.
Meelo is gentle with respectful children and does not display any signs of being aggressive with children (only tested with 7 years old and over)
Meelo has separation anxiety so will need a human and dog company at home at all times.
Car rides are still something to be worked on - he loves to look out the window but unfortunately this is a barking trigger. He has been learning to ride on the floor on a doggy bed to avoid excessive barking in the car.
