About Rollo
Hi, my name is Rollo! I came in from the streets as a stray. I've been a little unsure of people for a while but I've realised I love pats now!
While I may be a bit shy when you meet me, if you give me a little time, I'll become the most purry, cuddly boy you'll ever meet!
I love following my foster mum around the room purring, laying in her lap while she's sitting on the floor and getting belly rubs when I'm in the cat tower hammock. I think playing with wand toys is the best too!
I also love playing with my foster sibling Floki, so I think a cat friend would be nice to have.
My dream home is one that will give me plenty of time to settle in and get used to my new home and environment. One with a confident cat friend to show me the ropes would be the best!
Rollo has been:
- Untried with cats, however, came into care with an unrelated kitten and has been fine with him
- Untried with children - no young children, please. Teenagers should be fine.
- Untried with dogs - no dogs thank you

Rollo is approximately 7 months old (DOB: 07/03/2022) and his adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 2x Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
