About Ginger (guinea Pig 22)
Ginger has totally come out of her shell whilst in shelter care, so much so she has become one of the most confident and social piggies we have here!
Ginger is 1 of 113 guinea pigs who arrived from terrible conditions. She has lived with many guinea pigs previously, and while in our care has been introduced to 2 separate friendship groups, both whom she bonded with quite nicely. Currently, Ginger is living with her desexed male companion, Alvin. Both enjoy eachother's company and get quite protective of eachother when other pig pals are around. They can enter their forever home either together, or separately if you have a lone guinea pig in your home needing a social friend.
Ginger has lived in a foster home with a dog and cat so could continue this in her new home.
Ginger is easy to handle and will come out on her own at the sound of treat packets or when veggies are offered. She will squeak and start a symphony amongst all of the other guinea pigs we have housed here, making all handlers smile as the piggies nibble away.
