Judging by this gentle and loving ways, you would never know that Ranger grew up where his next meal – and his own safety - was never guaranteed.

Ranger was born to a wily street mumma cat who made a home for herself and her kittens behind a dumpster in an industrial area of Dandenong. Life was tough for all the kitties, and people were something to be feared.

But the moment Ranger was brought to safety he let his guard down. While initially a little shy when meeting new people, Ranger understands now that people mean food - and love, warmth and comfort.

Ranger is a quiet boy who is happy to find a nice cozy place to curl up and kitten nap. He has the most incredibly soft champagne ginger fur and he likes to be stroked and patted as much as you like. He is silky to touch.

Ranger is a purry boy (touch activated) and he loves a good chin and cheek scratch. He will also lift his butt high in the air, so high that he is on tippy toes, for a good butt scratch.

Ranger is a social kitty who would do great as a second cat with an older kitty for him to adore. He is not a dominant cat and will fit easily with your kitty, with the right slow and careful introductions over time of course. He would also be fine as an only cat.

Ranger is going to grow up to be a big boy too, so you’ll need a lot of lap for this guy in the future. His paws are huge and he’s not done growing yet! He will also be big and magnificent, as this kitten is exceptionally good looking. Photos do not do him justice.

He would do well in a home with a family of older children, with a couple or with a single person who is home a fair amount of the time. Ranger is not suited to a home with a dog/s.

Because he was rescued from a life on the streets, Ranger will need to be an indoors-only kitty. He would enjoy access to an outdoor enclosure if you have one but otherwise it is strictly indoors for this adorable fanta pants.
