Rosy

Beautiful and unique, Rosy is a lovely approximately 2 year old mixed breed (we believe Labrador x Staffy) looking for her perfect people. After being looked over at a rural NSW pound for far too long, she came down to VIC to a Pawfect Pals foster carer so her true personality could shine through.

When Rosy first arrived at her foster home, she was a bit sad and shut down, but with some love and attention, she has truly shown what a beautiful soul she has. Rosy is a bit goofy and playful but very loveable, enjoying a good cuddle with her people whenever the opportunity arises. She is only medium height, but quite wide, with a similar build to a Labrador. Though she can take a little bit to warm up to new people, once she knows you she'll be your best friend. She is friendly with other dogs and would do fine in a home with or without another doggy friend. She is not suited to a home with chickens or pocket pets and is untested with cats.

Rosy is toilet trained and sleeps well in a crate overnight. She is still learning not to jump up when excited, so older children would be best (12+) so she doesn't inadvertently knock them over. That being said, she is a very gentle and sweet girl. Her training is progressing well, with her recall and sitting near perfect, and she would love to keep working on her basic obedience in her new home so she can be a great doggy citizen. Rosy would prefer a home with people around for company more often than not.
