About 🐰Fern🐰 (Located in Mount Eliza)
Hi everybun, my name is Fern and I’m looking for my forever home. Like most Netherland Dwarfs, I may be small in size but I definitely make up for it with my sassy personality and excitement for life. I love binkying around my enclosure and I get super excited at meal times.
I can’t tell you anything about my past, except that I suddenly found myself at the pound where I was very frightened. My future, along with lots of other bunnies was looking pretty grim until I was saved by a kind lady who took me home to feed and care for me until a permanent home could be found.
I must admit that I haven’t exactly been putting my best foot forward. Because I’m so small, I’m scared of everything and sometimes when you get too close, especially in small spaces, I can feel very frightened and become a bit aggressive. I’m particularly upset when my foster mum brings out the dust pan and brush to clean which causes me all sorts of anxiety. It’s all fear and I am slowly learning to trust humans and their touch. I am improving slowly but I’ll need patience and not a great deal of expectation early on in my new home.
Preferably, I’d really like to find an adult only home where I’m not overcrowded by little people wanting to constantly pick me up and pat me. I could also be interested in finding that special someone to share my life with. Having a loving husbun could give my confidence a huge boost.
If you prefer the nethie sass over the incessant need to pick up and cuddle, then I’m the bunny for you!

The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care.

Please be aware that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new furry family member at any stage of their life, Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue will take the animal back into care.
Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. While all our animals are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of moving to a new home can upset their immune system.

All our cats and kittens are in foster care, we do not operate a shelter or shop, so please send through an enquiry.
We have a detailed online adoption questionnaire for you to fill out. This will then be followed with a phone interview with the rescue Director and then the animals Foster Carer before we allow a meet and greet to take place with the animal in their foster home.
All cats and kittens in foster care are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated prior to adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
