Meet Jennifer, the sweetest girl around. We believe Jennifer’s life was not easy before she came into our care, she has fly bitten ears and a few scars to show her previous woes. But that’s all behind her now!

Jennifer is after a family where she can be the one and only pet, she grew up in a home with too many dogs and is over sharing food, space and love. while she is happy and excited to meet new doggy friends, she deserves to have it all to herself now!

Jennifer is a very affectionate girl that loves cuddles on the couch or just being close by while you work. She is learning how to be by herself and settled inside with a chewy treat without a peep for a few hours while her people are at work. Jennifer is well mannered but doesn’t know any formal commands, she’s been busy learning she’s safe and how to play while in foster.

She’s still getting used to walking on lead and a front attach harness works best for her. She loves going for walk and exploring the world. Jennifer would suit a home with older children who can respect her boundaries and give her space to settle in.

Jennifer does have one quirk, she’s very unsure about walking on slippery surfaces. She’s slowly getting better and will take a couple of steps on the lino now but a towel or mat on the floor helps feel more comfortable. She is a goofy girl that often play bows and jumps around at the excitement of seeing her people come home. She is starting to learn how to play and is fond of a hard chew toy.
