About JJ
With Halloween just around the corner, JJ is the black cat you definitely want to cross your path! He is sweet, curious, entertaining and laid back. Due to an unknown accident early in his life, he is missing one back leg and part of his tail. But it doesn’t stop him from living his best life!
JJ is an indoor cat but loves a spot of world-watching from windows or doors. JJ quite fancies himself as a bird watcher and would love an outside enclosure or some outdoor time on a lead!
He can be a timid boy and loud noises startle him - but only some loud noises. The vacuum cleaner is a scary beast, but the washing machine is not - Only JJ knows the secret why.
This intelligent bot is often cautious when getting to know people, but will come around quickly and loves a pat on the head and scratches behind his ear.
JJ spends his days snoozing in his igloo bed (preferably placed on your desk while you work) or in front of the fire, and his nights on his blanket at the foot of your bed. The evening is when he goes into cat mode … running around and playing with his toys. He also has a quirky habit of grabbing a piece of your clothing and dragging it around the house … which is actually really cute.
JJ is litter trained and loves his wet and dry food … if you throw his biscuits he loves chasing them or trying to catch them in mid-air! Who said cats with three legs cant be acrobats?
A sweet and sensitive soul JJ doesn’t enjoy boisterous activity so a calm household would suit him perfectly. He hasn't lived with children or other pets before though an older, quiet animal companion who doesn’t pay much attention to him would be fine.
JJ is an engaging and unique cat that will make a wonderful companion. He is truly a special boy with a heart full of love!
JJ's Details
Age: 2 years 2 months 2 weeks
Microchip Number: 956000012138431
Medical notes
JJ is young, fit and healthy. He does have three legs rather than four but this doesn't slow him down at all! He may be best suited to a urinary care diet as he did have a bladder blockage last year. Having said that he hasn't had any issues since and is currently eating wet and dry food.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
