Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Loki (was Jet)
**Jet needs to live in a home with a big friendly adult dog so he can be the best dog he can be** He's waiting in the shelter patiently for someone to take a chance on him.
Jet is a loveable and energetic hound looking for his new family and a friendly and sociable adult dog to learn from. He would be better with a dog of similar size as he's still learning how big he is.
Jet loves his humans and aims to please. He's still being introduced to indoors after spending majority of his life in a backyard, so his new family will need to manage him indoors until he's comfortable.
As a Harrier, Jet uses his nose very well, especially on walks when he picks up a scent. He would love a yard to spend time in and get his energy out. Jet is not suitable to live in an apartment.
Jet is a goofy, friendly boy and loves children and adults. He would do best with older children or ones that are big dog savvy as Jet can get excitable and bouncy.
This beautiful boy could also live in a home with cats as long as they are robust and not scared of big dogs.
Jet's adoption fee will include a one on one post adoption training session with our behaviour trainer here at SCAR.
LOCATION: FOSTER CARE **Application Process** If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team. On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. The information you provide helps us to start a conversation with potential adopters, and find a great match for pets in our care. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you! www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ... because they all deserve one!
