About Cashew
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Cashew is a dear little girl and it is hard to believe that anyone would abandon her leaving her all alone in the backyard to fend for herself. Paws were alerted to cashews plight, the owner was contacted, he signed her over to us and the rest is history. We have had all of cashews vet work done, clipped off her matted coat with a scalpel blade while she was under for desexing and popped her into foster care where she is receiving lots of attention and lovely warm meals. Cashew was a little timid and unsure of people at first and being an inside dog was a whole new experience for her as she probably only lived outside. She is really enjoying her new life as an important member of the family and is certainly lapping up the attention. Cashew is a bright little dog and has learnt to 'sit' and 'stay', is very obedient and will always come when called. She doesn't bark much, sleeps through the night beautifully and is not a fussy eater. Cashew can sometimes be dominant with other dogs so she will need a 'dog savvy' owner who will continue to give her gentle guidance. We would like to rehome her with another desexed dog as she does like to play but she could be an only dog if her family do not work long hours as she does like being with people. Cashew is a house dog and must have inside access at all times through a doggy door or similar and she will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking wonderful. Cashew comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. If you would like more information on cashew or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.
