Kenny ~ 6mo Red Cattle Dog(On Trial 13/11/22)

Meet the most beautiful, sweet and affectionate pup, Kenny. Kenny is a 6-month-old, red cattle dog cross. Although Kenny was a little timid and nervous when he came into care, he has since blossomed into a happy, affectionate and very playful pup.

Kenny is very smart and easy to train as he is very food motivated. He sleeps in his crate through the night and toilet training is going really well. He already knows how to sit and come but still needs a little bit of training when waiting for his food and walking on a lead.

Kenny loves being inside with his foster family and playing with kids but is also happy
to play outside with dog toys and other dogs. He loves sleeping in his doggy bed or on the
couches outside in the sun. Being still quite young, puppy training or committed ongoing
training is recommended to ensure that his basic manners blossom into amazing manners as
he gets older. 

He is still learning how to walk on a lead and can be a bit shy around dogs he doesn’t know,
but quickly warms up. Being a working breed background, Kenny will need to lead an active
and exciting lifestyle and be included in all family fun and adventures. Kenny will suit an
active family who enjoys outdoors and will want to take him on their adventures. Kenny is
very affectionate and loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with a human at
night so must be allowed to come inside to spend time with the family. He enjoys chewing
on dog toys, munching his dog treats, lots of cuddles and just being near you.

Kenny is in foster care with a very playful 4-year-old Labrador who he interacts and plays
very well with. He would suit a family that has another dog that is social and playful or a
home where someone is home more often than not.

Kenny's perfect furever home would include:

- A nice big yard to run and play
- A place to sleep inside at night
- Another fur sibling to run, cuddle and play with or relatives with dogs so he can have regular play dates
- Children over 5 years old who love dogs. Kenny is a playful pup who may accidentally knock young children over in his excitement 
- A family, couple or single person who are/is active and understand/s the requirements of having a working breed dog in their home
- A home where he would be welcomed on the couch for cuddles

Kenny's adoption fee is $600 which includes all up to date vet work. Including desexing, microchip and second vaccination. He has had his first vaccination and has been treated for fleas and worms.
