About Dutch
Hi there, my name is Dutch!
I am a beautiful, sensitive soul who is very confused with all these changes and new people. I'm really looking for a nice calm, ADULT (maybe teen) home that can provide me with plenty of TLC!
My new owners need to understand my breed/breed traits, it will really help me to come out of my shell and provide the right expectations with my new family. I find strangers to be a bit scary so I might be shy at first, but if you give me some time, I'll become your new shadow!
Unfortunately I am not suited to a home with cats, pocket pets or birds. Sorry.
Other dogs are still a bit of a mystery to me, so I'm not to sure about living with one. If I were to trying having a canine companion they would need to be a calm female, otherwise I would be best as only dog at this stage.
I enjoy spending time indoors with my people, but would also love a nice big (and securely fenced) backyard to stretch my legs and sniff, sniff, sniff!
Daily exercise is must, however I request walks in quiet areas as too much activity (people, dogs, noises) will overwhelm me. No dog parks, thanks!
I really am an affectionate boy, I just need a patient owner who has the time to put into building my confidence!
