This stunningly beautiful girl is a 8 month old Border Collie x weighing in at a mere 20 kilos is a smaller size med with a heart of gold

MISS BELLA

Miss Bella is a very friendly dog with a playful nature. She loves children and her foster Staffy brother.

Ms Bella enjoys time both inside and outside the house.

When outside she loves exploring and chasing her foster brother around the backyard.

When inside Miss Bella loves a cuddle. She is extremely affectionate and just loves being with the family.

OBEDIENCE

Miss Bella strives for positive reinforcement and is very eager to please. She has learnt to go to her bed when it is time to rest. She is also starting to drop when instructed. She is very clever and picks things up easily.

She does get excited when she meets people and sees other dogs and will jump, she is very easily redirected when this occurs.

Miss Bella is learning to walk well on the lead and very rarely pulls. When she sees other dogs or someone gives her attention, she will become excited and jump.

Bella will occasionally bark, this has mostly occurred when there has been something in the backyard like a possum.

ENRICHMENT

Miss Bella is very inquisitive. She has really enjoyed playing with toys that are stimulating and interactive. She has also enjoyed playing in the sandpit. When not given enough stimulation Miss Bella will find her own fun. Like lots of ladies she loves shoes and doesn’t mind borrowing from her foster families. She has not chewed them; she just likes to run away with them.

Miss Bella has been going on daily walks and has really enjoyed this and will definitely require a daily walk in her new home

SLEEPING

Miss Bella has been sleeping inside. She usually sleeps from around 9pm until 6.00am. She has had no toileting issues overnight and has learnt to go to the bathroom at night when instructed.

Her foster family has been encouraging her to go to the toilet before bed and when she wakes up.

Miss Bella is very excited from the moment she wakes up but is happy to play outside at the start of the day with or without her foster brother.

SOCIALISATION

Miss Bella loves both dogs and people. Her foster family consists of a male Staffy (aged 18 months) , two children and two adults. She has shown affection to all the family and loves to be involved in whatever they are doing.

Miss Bella was previously reported to have chased cats so we seek a no cat home please

She is very social and would benefit being with a family who will keep her well socialized.

FOOD

Miss Bella has been having a diet of mostly Royal Canin Puppy Food. She has also been having some meat and treats. Bella loves her food and has no trouble eating. She is currently being fed separately to her foster brother, although she is happy to finish what he hasn’t eaten.

HYGIENE

Bella has enjoyed a bath while with her Foster Family.

She has been receiving regular brushing, and is very happy to sit while being brushed.

TRAVEL/CAR

Miss Bella has been great in the car. She is happy to sit in her car seat and look out the window. She does require some assistance getting in and out of the car depending on size.

IDEAL HOME:

Miss Bella would thrive in a home with an active family who are willing to take her on long walks and then come home for a big cuddle.

She needs a home with a good-sized yard to run around and explore. Shelter in the backyard is a must if Bella is spending time outside.

Miss Bella loves children, however due to her jumping when excited she may be better suited to a family with older children. She would also be very happy to share her home with another dog. but we seek a male if there is a dog already in residence we would be seeking a playful male.

Adoption Criteria for Miss Bella

A home with a larger secure yard with plenty of shade and selher and grass to play

A home that are committed to walking her everyday and keeping her stimulated

A home with another dog would be great as she does love others but we would be seeking a loving and playful male of similar energy

A home that are committed to ongoing training

A home that has children would be great but we are seeking mature age with dog experience as she can jump up when excited for a pat.
