About Arwen
Hi, my name's Arwen! I came from a hoarder property with 30 cats.
I'm a smoochy girl who loves other cats. In fact, I follow my foster carer's resident cat around everywhere! I also love sleeping on the bed and playing with toys. I'm a bit of an independent girl and haven't figured out laps yet, but I show my love in other ways like rubbing up against your leg and head-butting your hand for pats.
I'd really love a home of my own for Christmas! Could that be with you?
I've been:
- Tried with other cats and are great with them
- Tried with a large breed dog and am not friends but not bothered by them.
- Tried with older children (teenagers) and am fine with them.
I'm 7 months old now (DOB: 25/04/22) and to find a home my adoption fee is $100 instead of $150. My adoption fee includes:
- Desexing
- Full vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatments up to date
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of my current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get me started.
I'm available to meet at my foster carer's home at Murray Bridge. If you'd like to meet me in all my floofy glory, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and my foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet me!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
