Lizzy, Lizzy Loo Lah, Dizzy Lizzy, These are some of the names my foster Mum calls me.
I am an agile and intelligent doggo, and boy can I run fast too. I’m eager to please and very trainable: I would excel at agility sports. I am very smart and learn routines quickly. I'm not too bad on a lead and would like to be your running buddy. I know to sit and wait for pats and food. Oh, and I love to snuggle and go on car rides.
I am friendly with other dogs and love to play, although I can be nervous until I get to know them. I can try to assert my dominance over other dogs, so I’d be best in a home with a chilled out male dog.
I am a confident little dog full of spunk, and a good guard dog as nothing goes on without me noticing.
I am not good with livestock, they are big and scary and I like to bark at them. Small animals and reptiles also appear to be fun to chase however, I quite like cats and try to lick them when I see them.
I tested positive for heartworm when I arrived in care and have now completed treatment. I am happy to say I am heartworm free although, I will require a follow up test in February (this is included in my adoption fee) just to make sure. Due to the heartworm treatment and exercise restriction that came with it, I am crate trained and comfortable in a crate or pen.
I am respectful of fences and know to stay on the inside but could be tempted to push through gaps under a gate. Secure fencing is needed however, high fences are not critical.
Lizzy is $250 to adopt, desexed, microchip, C5 vaccinated, and given flea tick and worm preventatives.
