Hi there, I'm Zelda! If you're interested in a young, patient and energetic girl, I just may be the right dog for you.

I'm a special girl who isn't too used to getting smothered with affection, so you'll have to take your time with me when it comes to pats and cuddles. Sometimes I like to have my own space to lounge around, so I would love to go to a home where I have indoor/outdoor access. Don't let this fool you though! I'm quite easy to win over and I am also very affectionate. I'll sidle up to you on the couch and I might even fall asleep with my head on your lap.

I have lovely manners and sit for my meals and at doors. Trust me, you'll be impressed!

Due to my sensitivity to touch, it would be best for me to go to a mature home with no children. This is just to make sure I don't get overwhelmed. I'm very cute and they may not be able to resist wanting to cuddle me, not understanding that sometimes I need some space. I would love to go home with someone who is experienced with dogs. Someone who is able to read and understand my body language would be perfect!

If you already happen to have a friendly, calm dog at home, I would love to meet them! I've met a few doggy friends during my time here at the RSPCA and even though I'm not always in the mood for a big play, the staff have found that I'm very good with them.

Overall, I'm a simple dog who just needs some understanding with a side of long lasting chews. Oh, did I mention how much I love chew treats? Give me a dog-safe bone to chew on and you might even forget I'm there!
