About Champion
Champion is a ten year old pedigree German Shepherd who is looking for a new home.
Champion came to us with his mate Snowy, who has now found a new home.
Champion has been trained by Bear the Dog Behavourist to walk well on a lead and be social to other dogs.
Champion has not been tested with cats or pocket pets. He came to us with Snowy so could go to a home with a female German Shepherd or large breed dog. He has not suitable to go to a home with young children.
Being a large breed dog we are seeking a home who have owned and have had experience with a large breed dog or preferably a German Shepherd dog.
If you can give Champion a new home, please select "Enquire about Champion" and we will forward our adoption form.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Windsor with your family and any dogs to meet Champion. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Champion is microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed and heart worm tested before going to his new home.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
