About Dusty
My name is Dusty and I am a 1.5 year old male Kelpie who is looking for my perfect home. I am a sweet, loving, goofy and affectionate little guy and I am hoping to find a patient and unconditionally loving family that will be able to help continue to build my confidence.
When I first came into foster care I was a very nervous boy who spent allot of time hiding in my crate. Through continued training and encouragement, I have continued to grow in confidence and I am learning that the world doesn’t need to be a scary place.
I have learnt to love my cuddles, play with my foster sister and I now enjoy going for walks to explore with my family. I am not an overly active dog, so I mostly love to spend my days relaxing with my humans. I will often sit at my foster mums feet whilst she works as I love knowing my family are close by.
My ideal family would be home more often then not and would need to have experience working with nervous pups like me. Whilst I have come a long way with my confidence, I still become overwhelmed easily. My new family would need to be committed to continuing with my training and building confidence. I am not suited to a home with children, and am hoping to find humans that enjoy calm and routine environments like me! I am great friends with my foster dog sister so would be okay living with another confident dog too.
I have learnt to sit, drop and wait for my dinner whilst in foster care. I travel well in the car and love spending time in my crate. I am also fully house trained. My new family will need to have a crate and quiet place for me to spend time as I will use my crate throughout the day to calm myself down when I am scared. They will also need a secure backyard with appropriate fencing as I have shown I am quite good at climbing!
I am a very sweet pup and my foster parents love me and have become very fond of me. I am always up for a cuddle and make them laugh daily with my goofy and loving nature. I am a special little guy who is equally looking for some pretty special humans to call my family.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
