Hello future family! My name is Bernie and I am a cool dude! I'm currently on the hunt for my furever family - could that be you?

I'm a smoochy man who loves cuddles and hanging out with my humans! I would do well in most homes, and if I'm going home with children they need to be respectful of me and my space. I have not been tested with dogs, however I am a pretty confident young man and with proper introduction I'm sure we will do fine!

I am a special boy because I have FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) which is mainly transferred via cat bites. It's simialr to AIDs virus in humans but it's not contagious to you don't worry! Even though I have FIV, I am still a happy and healthy man, and as long as my family keeps me safely indoors my friends at the RSPCA reckon I'll live a long and purr-filled life! Because of my FIV, I can only be rehomed as a single cat, or with another FIV positive kitty friend, to reduce the risk of transmitting the disease even further. But have no fear! FIV cannot be given to humans or any other animals, so I will still suit a lot of families!
