Zekrom has done really well and come along way since arriving in foster care, he is a really beautiful, loving, sweet pup! Who loves and adores his human companions.

With time to adjust to his new surroundings he will do really well and has demonstrated this while in foster care. Although Zekrom has come really far in such a short time, he will need continual and ongoing training, socialisation and exposure to the big wide world, he is still a scared little puppy.

Zekrom has improved walking on a lead, he can sometimes pull but most of the time he needs some encouragement and support to walk. We have found that providing treats has been really effective and a great motivation for him.

Zekrom just learnt to sit on command and loves his human friends, he is excited to see his people, enjoys sitting close by and will always come when called. Zekrom has lived with two children aged 4 and 12 and after some time to adjust has done really well.

Although Zekrom is unsure of dogs he doesn’t know and will need ongoing exposure, training and socialisation, after allowing time for Zekrom to adjust he has developed a positive relationship with the the other dog in care. The only issue being around food, which he has improved greatly on.

He doesn't have much of a kelpie temperament, he seems to embrace the shar pei side of himself more.

Zekrom is crate trained and has had no accidents inside, with further training, patience, time and support Zekrom will do really well and make an amazing companion!
