About Penny & Darcy
Penny (grey and white domestic shorthair) and Darcy (blue and white domestic shorthair) came to us when their litter was handed in at the council chambers in Drummoyne. They were very shy and confused about why they had been left there to begin with, but within a couple of days we had all of the kittens purring.
Luckily, Mr Darcy and Miss Penny have been in foster care with their beautiful carer Jocelyn and her cheeky Scottish Fold, Dougal. So we know that these kittens have absolutely gorgeous personalities, and they really love other cats.
Both Darcy and Penny have been tested with gentle dogs and have proven to be fantastic and confident around them.
Darcy and Penny are also fine with kids and young teenagers. They are beautiful companions and would make the perfect pet for a family.
They can be separated, but Darcy will need to find a home with another cat - he is very affectionate and depends on Penny for company, play, love and cuddles. Another young and social cat in your existing home would be perfect in the even we don't keep these two together. :)
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
