About Talan
Hi, my name is Talan! I came from a hoarder property with 30 cats. I'd love to find a home of my own where I don't have to compete so much for affection!
I'm a purry boy that loves a head rub and a butt scratch! I love playing with toys and my foster carer's cats! My favourite past time is sleeping up on the cat shelves my foster carer has in her hallway. I love being up high and looking down on the humans.
My foster carer says that while I'm not a lap cat quite yet, I definitely show signs of becoming one once I settle. She says I have the cutest little chirp that I use to get her attention.
My dream home is one where I can be given a little time to settle in and get used to having attention all to myself. I'd also love a home where I have another cat friend! I'll be fine on my own as well though.
Talan has been:
- Tried with cats and loves them
- Untried with children - no children under 12 please
- Untried with dogs - no dogs please

Talan is 6 months old (DOB: 25/4/22) and his adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 2 Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Talan is available to meet at his foster carer's home at Morphett Vale.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
