About Venus
Venus is a beautiful tabby mum who came into care with her 6 newborn kittens.
She has finished raising them and was an amazing mum to her six gorgeous kittens. They have all found wonderful furever families and now it’s time for Venus to get her happily ever after too.
She is looking forward to being spoilt and enjoying some serious chill out time!
Venus is super friendly, and like a lot of mums, loves a good chat. She enjoys nothing better than all-over pats. She’s not shy in demanding some affection and will jump up to rub against your hand if your hands are otherwise engaged.
Venus loves hanging out with people, so if you’re after a lap warmer while you’re binging on your face Netflix series, Venus is your gal.
Venus is super chill and is suited to most homes. She’s happy to be around dogs and kids, as well as other cats, as long as they’re as chill as she is.
Could your home be Venus’ happy ever after?
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
