Meet our gorgeous Nala. After some weeks in the care of her SAFE carer, she has gone from a timid, scared, thin girl to a rambunctious, happy girl who doesn't stop wagging her entire bum (the tail alone isn't enough, you see!). She has learnt (and continues to learn) how to communicate with all sizes of dogs and loves to run over and say hi to both her four legged and 2 legged friends. She likes to jump up and lick you all over but is learning to greet people in a calmer manner. Nala knows sit, stay and come, and continued training will reap future benefits, for example she can sometimes zig zag on the lead so some ongoing work will see that improve.

Nala loves nothing more than snoozing on the couch with you or really just being anywhere next to you! She would be fine either in a home as the only dog with lots of attention from her people, or with another furry friend to keep her company, as she has grown to love her doggy friend in her foster home. She is untested with cats or other animals. She loves her soft toys and her squeaky toys and is not at all destructive, but beware the shoe thief!

Nala loves car rides and enjoys her walks. She's not especially high energy but a daily walk of up to an hour would be fantastic for her. She can be left alone for a couple of hours a day while her people are out, as long as you lavish your love on her when you're home! Nala does enjoy digging in sand so your fencing must be dig proof. She will find thing's to chew if left alone too long so some enrichment toys or a nice bone will help and also a home where she has company more often than not.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation. Nala has had a minor skin allergy but an injection has settled it. It's possible given it's Spring time, that the skin issue is seasonal.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
