Hugo is an interesting mix, and is a lovely boy - a real gentleman. He is quite obedient and is great around the house; is figuring out how to use a doggy door to go out to toilet and even if he gets stuck outside he will just bark quietly to be let in. At night he's happy to lie by your bed quietly.

Hugo knows his name, has fair recall and enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He's fostered in a busy home with a variety of animals and doesn't show any interest in any of them, although he is untested with cats.

Despite his rather stocky appearance, Hugo is quite an active dog who loves his current walks twice a day, but in between walks he is more than happy just to chill around the house. He would be okay to be left home for a few hours a day while you are out, as long as he gets a walk out of his yard each day - especially if the walk is via a trip in the car! Yes, the car is one of Hugo's main loves in life! He adores riding in the car to go on his walk, and if you can't find him, he's probably sitting by the car hoping to go out! Sometimes he gets so excited in the car that he will whine, but he will stop if you tell him to.... he just loves going out with you and behaves beautifully at the cafe if you take him for your morning coffee.

Hugo is a good medium sized dog; although he's part Pug, he's nowhere near as small.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
