Hi I’m Moon, My sister and I were found on the side of the road, it’s assumed we were dumped because no-one came forward for us. We had severe worm burden, and were extremely malnourished, now we are thriving and ready to find out forever families.

I am great with other dogs, I play well with dogs of all sizes. After being exposed to chickens it would be best if I’m kept seperate until I’m better aquatinted and know how to behave around them. I am curious when meeting cats and would need much more exposure and supervision.

I would be okay as an only dog as I’m happy enough doing my own thing. but I do enjoy company of both humans and dogs.

I spend my days outside with big dogs, but also get to come inside and snuggle with my foster family.I sleep in a crate on enclosed deck or inside. The crate door often gets left open and I will put myself to bed when i want.

I adore children but please be mindful that I am still quite young and can forget my manners quite easily. I am working on this and with positive reinforcement and training I am getting better. I come when called and I’m learning to sit for treats. My new family will need to continue my training to ensure I become the best dog possible.

I can be a little timid at first when meeting new people, but realise quickly that not everyone is scary. I absolutely love liver treats, soft toys or ropes to play with.

I do show a little bit of food aggression towards other dogs at meal times,so need to be fed separately or under supervision. I am learning to sit, wait, stay and down. I am getting the hang of the lead, waiting for instruction to eat and waiting at door until invited inside.

I’m doing good with my toileting overnight in the crate, I still have a few accidents inside but showing improvement.
