About Bella
This special lady has loads of personality and knows just how to worm her way into your heart. Bella is slightly overweight at around 12kg. She will need to loose a little more weight to be comfortable so a diet of good quality fresh and cooked food and high quality dry food are a must for this princess. She also enjoys treats.
Despite her age, Bella absolutely loves going out on adventures and walks and will get very excited when shown her lead. She currently enjoys 2-3 walks a day. She does have some expected age related arthritis and is currently seeing a doggie chiropractor to assist with some lower back discomfort which has been very beneficial to her continuing to enjoy her walks. The foster carer has just introduced her to the water and she is really enjoying her little swims at the beach.
Bella is good on lead, she will bark a little at other dogs but with a little adjustment in direction refocuses well. She really enjoys her human company and loves to sit right beside you and receive lots of pats. She needs to sleep in your bedroom close to you.
Bella deserves your undivided attention so she is looking for a single dog household with owners that have lots of time for her and are around a lot of the time.
Bella is toilet trained and is currently in care in an apartment so a house or apartment are suitable, however she is not suited to a home with too many stairs.
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
