About Yogi
Meet Miss Yogi, a 3 year old female kelpie who was surrendered when her elderly owner could no longer care for her.
Yogi is a sweet, kind and smoochy girl. Yogi has had a sheltered few years and hasn’t had much of a chance to explore the big wide world, so everything is bit new to her. Yogi takes it in her stride and can voice her concern, but will happily place her trust in you that everything is ok. She is quick to build trust and adapt to new situations with reassurance and kindness.
Yogi is not a high energy girl, but she loves her daily walks and travels happily in the car. At night she likes to curl up on the couch with her people.
Yogi is a little nervous with other dogs but once she is comfortable she loves a good play and romp. She has a boisterous play style which may be a bit much for some dogs. She is not suited to dog parks. As she hasn’t had much training and exposure, a home without other smaller furry pets (cats and pocket pets) would be best for her.
Yogi is very people orientated and fine with older kids (8+). She would thrive with an owner that has had herding breed experience and is dedicated to putting in the time and effort to train her and build her trust in the outside world. Yogi thrives with boundaries and will need an owner who a confident and kind leader, and will show her the ropes so she can be the best dog she can be. She loves to be with you and will thank you with her unwavering trust and loyalty, her wet nose snuggles and warm curl ups on the couch.
Will you be the lucky person that this girl gives her heart to?
