About Boxie
Meet Boxie!
Boxie is a female Staffy x whos approx DOB is 13/7/2022. Boxie came to us as quite a nervous girl. She has slowly shown us her sweet personality and will do so for her new humans once she feels safe and settles into daily life in her new home. While being here at SMART, Boxie has gotten along with other dogs/puppies her size but has shown quite a lot of fear around bigger dogs and reacts by nervously growling when one is near. A home with either a dog her own size or another puppy would be best if you already own a dog. If you have another dog, a meet and greet would be required. This is something that given time and the correct training, she may overcome. Boxie has shown interest in chasing cats so would be best suited to a cat free home.
Boxie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm and flea treated and vet checked.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
