Beautiful Mikita 🥰
Mikita, or lil piggy as we call her, is an exceptionally loving little pup. She's a fun-loving young lady with a big personality. She earned the name piggy, because she has this cute little snort, and because she was quite chonky when we started fostering her. Her previous owner loved to feed her lasagne! She was quite upset to discover we weren't so willing to hand over as much of our lasagne, but we made up for it with more walkies and play time in the backyard. What she's really looking for is someone who will give her walkies AND lasagne! Could it be you?
On her walkies, our lil piggy loves to sniff around and say hello to all the people and doggies she meets. She's good on the lead, and with consistent training is becoming a very good girl off-leash as well. She likes to play with other doggies, run around with you or even just have a lay in the grass.
At home, she tests and respects boundaries. We don't allow her in the kitchen or in our carpeted bedrooms, so she has become very good at hovering just outside the threshold. If you tell her to go away, she'll wait a moment to check that you're being serious and then eventually head off to her spot to wait for you to come snuggle up to her later. She will be a lap dog if you let her be. If you like cuddles, I recommend you let her be.
This young lady has had quite the journey, having been through an abusive household and having two other owners pass away, she wants nothing more than to find a family that will love her as much as she's sure to love them.
