Missy

Missy has a fabulous personality, but let’s start with her looks! This gorgeous medium-to-long-haired girl is a beautiful blend of tortoiseshell, ginger and white. Her tail is a fluffy feather duster … she’s a stunner!

Missy is very very very playful. She loves batting things around, especially balls, and will fetch a toy from the drawer and bring it to you to let you know she wants you to play with her. This feisty, funny and active girl will also scamper in and out of her tunnel and attack her scratching cactus (see the photo), and if there are no toys available, will cheekily find pens or pegs to play with. She knows her scratching poles and mats are the best fun, so nothing else in the home gets scratched.

Missy is a little wary of strangers until she gets to know them, but once she is comfortable, she will stick to you like glue. She will likely snuggle up next to you, or even on your lap, while you are working at a desk or sitting on the couch. Missy loves being rubbed and brushed so you will have no trouble brushing her beautiful coat. She will let you pick her up and is very happy when you carry her to explore new places in the yard or views from the deck.

Missy is litter trained and currently lives indoors because she lives next to a wildlife reserve, though she occasionally goes outside supervised to nibble on some grass in the yard or venture around the garden.

While relaxing indoors, Missy likes to sit up high so she can see what is going on around her, but she also likes to stick close beside you. She enjoys watching the world out the window, and she even watches nature documentaries on the television! At bedtime, she will run to her room because she knows she will get a treat, and stay there quietly all night, or else sleep beside you on the bed.

As Missy only lives with adults at the moment, she has less experience with other fur babies, but she has happily stayed at cat resorts a number of times. She is not too sure about babies but would love a child to play games with her. She gets so excited when someone else wants to join in at playtime. Feathered friends are definitely foes as Missy is a little too interested in birds to co-exist with them peacefully.

Missy is perfect for people who want a devoted but active, agile, quirky cat who is as gorgeous as she is cheeky!
