Hi all! My name is Amarillo and I'm hoping I could be a new member of your family.

I'm quite a confident boy who loves a good scratch or two but I am not overly fond with being picked up or cuddled. For this reason, a family who is
experienced with cats and understands behaviour and body language would be best suited to me.

I am big ol foodie at heart so if you want to win me over, be sure to keep the treat jar stocked. A smart man like myself is more than happy to work for his
food, so puzzle, box or kong feeders are an amazing way to keep me mentally stimulated while providing me with that good stuff (food).

I'm the kind of man who isn't afraid to tell you what I like. Pats? Yes please! But only on my terms. I can be a bit sensitive at times and may give you a little
nibble if you push my boundaries. Because I can get a little overstimulated at times, I would prefer a household that has no kids under 12.

Don't get me wrong, I show affection in many ways - I love to circle my humans legs, rubbing up and giving the best headbunts you have ever felt.
Honestly, I am the perfect combination of affectionate and independent.

I don't like being in small spaces and can sometimes become a little nervous and cheeky, so I will not be suited for apartment living.
