Profile and needs in a home
Charley is an 8yr old bichon x poodle who is very handsome and a pair of eyes that would melt your heart!
Charley has quite a calm nature, and doesn't sweat over the small stuff!
He is not a barker, is housetrained, and has learned to use the doggy door when needed. Of course, your home is a new environment so you will need to set him up to succeed. He also loves a good romp and play with his foster friend, and is friendly with dogs he meets.
Charley must go to a home with another small playful dog in the home other than that all he requires is a warm, comfortable lap to sit on😊
Like all of our dogs, Charlie must be permitted to cuddle on the couch and must have access inside at all times and sleep inside in a warm area of the home at night preferably in the bedroom.
Charley travels well in the car and loves his outings. He walks well on the lead. We are not sure if he likes cats, birds, or other pocket pets.
We believe he would be OK with children as long as they are not boisterous or rough with him. He loves the quiet lifestyle.
Owners must be prepared to have professional grooming done when his coat grows longer and thicker. (every two months or so)
If you would like to meet Charlie please send us as much detail as possible on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your other dog/pets if any, family members, lifestyle, and outings you will provide Charley, how often Charley would be alone, where he will have access in the home and where she would sleep of a night, where Charley would go if you went away and could not take him with you, ability to cover vet expenses and any other information you wish to provide.
Medical notes
Charley has been diagnosed with a high-grade heart murmur. Following a chest x-ray and cardiac ultrasound, it has been determined that Charley does not require medication at this point.
His new owner must be committed to taking Charley for a vet check every 6 months and further diagnostic testing via x-ray and or cardiac ultrasound as and when required
