Blue

Hi there! My name is Blue and I am a young staffy with a big personality.

I am an active breed, but for now I am looking for a calm consistent household that loves routine.

I will need a home that is moderately quiet because a lot of things are new to me. All members of the family need to be aged 13 and up and can
understand that I'm not used to heaps of touch and cuddles yet. Until we get to know each other I may give off some confusing signals to you sometimes
because I am happy to see you but can get uncomfortable with too much touching.

I'm smart and LOVE food so I'd really benefit from ongoing training to help me gain confidence of new things and learn good manners.

If you have owned dogs in the past, that's perfect because you'll need to read my body language and behaviour, help me if I get overwhelmed and guide
me through new situations. I don't have the doggy social etiquette for a busy place like a dog park right now, but I love hanging out with confident, social
dog friends.

I have just returned from training camp where I worked on some confidence building games like nose work, recall, settling indoors, getting in and out of
the car and meeting other dogs politely. I loved it!

If you have a dog in your home already with a calmer temperament, but loves to go on walks and plays, we would be a great match, I like other dogs, but
especially ones that are patient with me if I get too excited.

As I am still figuring out the world, I will need to be an Indoor/Outdoor access dog, so there are many areas I can retreat to if I am feeling overwhelmed.
