basil is just gorgeous. . He loves to be close and have lots of cuddles. . Basil also needs someone to spend time with him. . He is a very young 11 year old. Basil will need someone who is home most of the time, retired person or couple preferred. He will dig under the fence to find you so he is best being inside when left alone. Basil has an eye condition which needs regular drops but anyone who has a shitzu or similar would be aware that this type of thing is quite common in this breed. . He copes very well and is not in any discomfort. . He actually a very very happy boy. Basil is very friendly with cats and other dogs and chickens. . He is tolerant of young children but is getting little impatient in his senior years. Basil would suit single lady/retired couple who are home a lot. . He does not like to be left alone for long. Basil is soft and low maintenance and his fur is the type that does not molt he just needs a good brush and a haircut every now and then. Basil is housetrained and sleeps inside during the night keeping you safe and giving him a soft spot to be close to his family. To meet basil please contact linda to make arrangements.
