Lola

Lola is a four year old female Shihtzu cross. She arrived at SoCares as a microchipped stray. Unfortunately, her owner never came to claim her. Lola was very scared in the pound environment so she went into foster care with the fabulous Kerrie.

Here’s what Kerrie had to say about this little munchkin;
“Lola is an excellent housemate. She sits beside you unless you invite her onto your knee, she walks quietly behind or beside you. She does not jump up on you without permission and is not a licker. She’s happy to be a homebody and has not shown any separation anxiety. She behaves in the car and has no problems with people or pets she is familiar with. She walks well on a lead, but is not confident around strangers. She is the best doorbell I know, and a proficient scarecrow, removing any birds from her yard. She currently lives with staffies and chihuahuas and a very old cat and has shown no aggression towards them, keeping a healthy distance from the cat at the cats request. Lola is nervous in new surroundings, tending to pant and vibrate until she feels comfortable. Lola is 3.6 kilos so is very petite and would not do well with very small children. “

Lola will require regular grooming to ensure her coat does not become matted.
