About Squall
Meet Squall!
She is a super sweet 9 week old Red & Tan Kelpie pup.
Squall is an energetic little Kelpie girl who loves to run and play with her siblings. She does also very much love a cuddle though and often forgoes playing with her littermates to seek out her humans. She is one of the smaller pups in the litter but that doesn't stop her keeping up with the rest!
This girl will need a busy and active life. She will need some room to run and ideally have her humans around more often than not. Her adopter must have proven past experience with working dog breeds and a commitment to her ongoing training and development will be essential.
Squall is quite reserved and cautious around her older 5yr old Kelpie foster brother. Although not scared, she is aware that he is a lot bigger than her and she sensibly does not bark or chase him! She will be best with a calm, well trained, doggie pal in her new home. One that is happy being her companion and role model rather than a boisterous wrestling buddy.
Squall comes from working line parents however with her softer nature she may not prove to have the skills to be a solid worker. She would however make a wonderful farm companion and follow you around wherever you go! She would suit a family home that would welcome her into the house and allow her to be both an inside and outside dog. She is not suited to apartment style or city living.
If you are looking for a sweet, fun and loving little gal to join your family, then apply today!
**Squall is located in VIC...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
