Archie

Archie is a super relaxed cat who would be a wholesome addition to his forever family. He’s quite shy when meeting new people, but will warm up once he learns that you’re providing pets, food, and love. He loves exploring new spaces and won’t shy away from leaping up to platforms and spelunking down tiny spaces. Archie loves sleeping in cozy spots (which may be your home office chair or under your pillow) and just does the most adorable curl a cat can do. You’d be hard pressed not to have the urge to cuddle alongside him.

While not the most vocal of cats, Archie will let you know when he wants attention by constantly rubbing himself against your legs, or letting out the tiniest ‘meep’ to remind you what he wants. Once he trusts you completely, he’ll gladly let you pet his soft fluffy belly, and will only OCCASIONALLY trap your hand. He also loves to follow you around (watch your step as he almost tripped me up several times!). Right now, Archie is learning the joy of being held and picked up. He’ll give you a minute or two of hugs and cuddles while being picked up before wanting to be let down. He’s also a playful cat who won’t miss a chance to chase around a toy on a string.

He seems to be well behaved and rather confident in his demeanor around other cats. Archie might not be suitable around loud environments and dogs. A home where he can patiently receive the love and care that is provided by his new family would be best.
