They say with the good comes the bad but I'm gonna say that doesn't apply to me. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever! I'm serious! Every gorgeous bit of me is what you get, every single day, forever and ever, amen. I don't have bad days only good ones! In no particular order, I'm energetic sweet-natured happy boisterous gentle smart playful affectionate inquisitive -- shall I go on? Oh yeah and I like dogs. Weird huh? Just as long as I get to be top cat, those canine-style characters in the house will bow down to me rather than bow-wow-wowing at me, thank you very much.

When I'm not sleeping my life away (uh who are we kidding?) I love to zoom around the house and play with a crinkly ball or a laser light, although I'm smart enough to know that it comes from the end of that pointy stick thing that you turn on. I'll admit it, I'm not a fan of going in the cage and having to travel in the car (well would you like being locked into a small moving jail cell?). But I promise I won't yowl or vom. I like to think of myself as a lady and keep the fluids inside my body wherever poss! I'll come and help you when you're working from home (I'm very good on the computer) or I'll just mind my own business while you're 9 - 5ing and snooze the day away on the chair nearby. Can you see my fluffy tortie gorgeousness beautifying your home and life? When will you come and get me? I'm here and I'm ready!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
