About Mocha
💝☕️ Mocha ☕️💝
🏠 Mocha came into care with her sister Latte when they were abandoned by their owner, who moved house and left them behind. They were left on the streets to fend for themselves. At 5 months old, they we’re so skinny! We have fattened them up and they are loving multiple meals a day.
😸 Mocha is very affectionate and loves a pat and chin rub! She likes a cuddle too and is getting used to being picked up and carried around.
🧸 Just like any kitten, Mocha loves her toys! She loves to play with the other resident kitties. She’d do well with a friendly kitten to play with during the day, but is also independent enough to go separately.
All of our cats and kittens have been desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and lifetime registered at the time of adoption. Mocha has had all vet work completed and is ready for her new home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
