About Muggsy
There’s no doubt that Muggsy loves a pat and snuggle once he’s there beside you. He’s still just a bit uncertain about getting there. 🥰
Can you imagine how terrifying it would have been for him being born inside a correctional facility? His mum must have done it so tough. It’s amazing he survived.
Despite the noise and harsh conditions he would have had to integrate into the large cat colony to survive, and battle with the aggressive Tom cats for food.
While there are caring people who try their best to look after the cats, there are also many who do not want them there. Lucky for the cats, the Pest company convinced management to desex the cats rather than euthanise then and currently there is a huge TNR program being carried out. This is how we came to have Muggsy.
We can’t imagine what has happened to him in his short life. At just 14 weeks he’s no doubt he’s been through a lot 😔. Due to his beautiful nature and quirky looks we didn’t want him to be returned to that life.
We feel Muggsy will need some time to feel completely comfortable in a home. Anxious cats do better with another cat for company. You may have an anxious cat yourself and wonder what you could do to make them feel more comfortable. Slow introduction of another shy cat can work wonders for both the resident cat and the new family member.
Muggsy needs this. He also needs patience and love.
If you’ve been touched by his story and would like to be part of his rescue, please pm us for more info. He needs you
