Elliot - 6 yr old Male Staffy X

Elliott is an affectionate, loyal, loving, and docile cuddly bear. He loves nothing more than to curl up on his bed at night (or during the day!) and also loves going for a walk. He is happy to be independent, spending large portions of his day laying in the sun. He gets along well with cats, living with one since he was a pup. Elliott is well-behaved on walks, doesn't pull, and sits when approaching roads. He is also generally quite well trained- he will sit before coming inside and before meals, as well as stay and approach on command. He is toilet trained and sleeps inside.
Elliott would be best suited to an individual or couple who wants a companion to give them love and affection. Someone who appreciates that he can be anxious around people and animals he doesn't know (however he does warm quickly to new people he trusts). Although Elliott currently lives in a household with a baby and has been around children in the past, children have become a source of anxiety for him. For this reason, a child-free home is essential. Elliott regularly plays with his known dog friends but does not like his personal space inhibited by dogs he doesn't know.
