About Tracker
If Tracker was a character from a movie, Top Guns Goose would be it.
A loyal wingman who will be by your side in any situation. Up for all kinds of fun and mischief and always there to support you.
Tracker is an endearing, happy little character. That grin is made for creating smiles and stealing hearts.
His favourite things in life are playing fetch, having a game of tug’o’war , munching down treats, getting pats, going for walks and chewing his toys.
Oh and people! Tracker loves his own people and meeting new ones!
If you have a busy, you won’t have to worry about Tracker not fitting in. Hoziers song ‘Someone new’ could be the tune for Trackers life - ‘I fall in love just a little, oh a little bit every day with someone new’.
No judgement from this boy, he loves everyone!
Tracker is also quite happy making new doggo pals!
He would be best suited to being an only dog and just saving all his doggy playtime for when he is out and about socialising!
Tracker has good social awareness and reflects the energy of others well. If a doggo is happy and bouncy ready for play, he’ll match that. If they’re calm and not into play, he’ll let them be.
Ideally Tracker would love a fairly active home, on property so he can enjoy running free or going on lots of adventures like camping, hiking, beach days, cafe lunch dates, road trips… he’s up for all the fun!
Both food and toys motivate Tracker and he’ll keenly take them as rewards making teaching him new things quite easy. He’s already learning well but will benefit from on going training so he can shine his best self.
Tracker can be quite jumpy still, life is just so exciting! So older kids would best best, however with training and dog confident children this can be changed.

Medical notes
Tracker is happy and overall very healthy.
He did have a severe reaction to untreated fleas when he arrived at the pound which had caused quite a mess to his skin. He has had medication, soothing baths and an excellent quality diet which is helping it to heal nicely.
Adoption details
Please send our friendly volunteers an email about yourself and we will reply to you as soon as possible. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt:
- payment is made
- a quick property check is conducted for dogs
-then you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We have a 2 week trial period so if this pet is not the perfect fit for you we will supply you with a full refund minus a $50 administration fee within the trail period. We will also take the adopted pet back at any stage should you be unable to care for them any longer.
