Hi hooman, my name is Moe, but I also respond to "who is the good boy" or "who wants a treat". I am the best snuggle buddy around - I will always be near you asking for cuddles and pats. You might even wake up in the morning with my soft nose by your head, snoring in your ear...well is there a better way to start the day?
I love to play fetch and to chew on my toys. My foster mum says I make funny noises while doing it so you will never be bored when you have me around. I love going on walks where I can practice loose lead walking. I absolutely love the beach and water!
Me and other dogs? Well, here is the thing - I love my fur-sibling and we can even share one dog bed, but when I see other dogs, I get all sorts of emotions - happy, anxious, nervous, restless. It can get quite overwhelming for me and I am still learning to overcome it. In case you already have a fur baby at home, I would need a proper meet and greet. I also respond better to fur-ladies.
My foster mum says I have come a long way since the first day she met me but I still can be a bit clumsy, do quick movements or become timid in loud environment - any yelling, door slams, cars approaching etc. This is why I would not be the best match for small kids. I am not tested with any kids or cats though.
I love food and treats! I can sit and wait for your command while you fill my bowl. I also know how to lie down, shake my paw and I have pretty good recall. I don’t jump fences nor dig under them.
My ideal home would be with someone patient who is willing to give me plenty of time and encouragement, and treats, of course. A nice quiet home would be paw-mazing!
