SPECIAL HOME & FAMILY REQUIRED!🏡😌
Sweet gentle soul looking for a family that will not give up on her again!🎀
I have been told I am very special, I simply just want to be loved by a family that wants me for me, and not just to breed from and keep me tied up in the backyard. I am an old soul at heart and do not have a mean bone in my body if I am nervous I never growl or show any signs of aggression and am a very submissive dog that trembles when I am feeling anxious, but with a few treats and a chin scratch I am all yours! 🥰🐕
I can do ‘sit’ and I’m working on my loose leash walking. I am great on a lead and very gentle when being walked but really food and cuddles are my main priorities in life. I like to sit on your feet and lean onto your legs super close for maximum patts, I never jump up and if you sit on the ground I will try and sit on your lap. I have old scarring around my neck and would much prefer to be walked on a harness in the future! 🏡💜
I’ve come so far in such a short time but I need a family that can allow me plenty of indoor cuddle time to make me feel comfortable and safe in a home that will never abandon me again. My new family will need to put in the work to build my confidence and offer stability. For this reason, I must meet all the all members of the family before securing a new home. 🦮🎉
I didn’t have a great start to my shelter journey... I was underweight, nervous and weary of some humans. I did quickly form bonds with employees but I am still hesitant towards new people as it takes me a little while to feel comfortable around them. I’ve gained a bit more weight over the last week, and still have a few kilos to gain. This is very easy for me to do though as I love my food, in saying this though I am very gentle when taking treats from your hand and never scoff my food instead I am very lady like when it comes to my eating and gently pick up all the food in my bowl and eat it slowly. 🍔💖
If you have a yard with secure fencing and will allow me to have indoor/outdoor access all day, then please consider me! I have so much love to give and I promise it will be rewarding. My current carer has a super soft spot for me and I will only go to a wonderful home, I have shown no signs of dog aggression at the facility but in saying this any introductions must be done slowly and in a secure setting with proper boundaries in place! 🐶😁
I could possibly live with a desexed male dog my carers think, although i am very delicate and he would need to be very gentle when playing and socialising with me, a well behaved dog friendly male may even help me feel more comfortable around humans and encourage me to come out of my shell so much more. ✨❤️
I would prefer my new home to be quiet and preferably with more mature children and people home most of the day as I am a huge snuggle bug and would love to lay at your feet when working form home and be the best couch potato for Friday movie nights! I am the most gentle and loving girl that really deserves to feel what an indoor home would be like with a gentle family that truly loves and adores me!🤞🏻🏡

Adoption details
Adoption of animals includes desexing, 1st vaccination, microchip, and NSW lifetime registration.
The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
