DESERVES TO BE OUT OF THE POUND ASAP & INTO A LOVING HOME!🏘📞
Hey all, my name is Chelsea and i am a golden oldie looking for my fur ever new home! 🥳🎀
Meet Chelsea, a beautiful older girl who needs love and trust building after years of living outside in the cold, having had multiple litters with her health needs ignored and neglected. Chelsea needs a home that will give her the opportunity to live out her final years feeling loved and cared for. Sadly Chelsea was dumped at the pound during the night in a thunder storm so we have no history of her past life.💙🏡
Even due to being dumped she still trusts people and only ever wants to please you, she is super well behaved and we cannot fault her at all! She loves belly rubs and wet food, she is currently being fed a high grade puppy food diet as when she first arrived she was so skinny and malnourished. 👨👩👧👧🖐🏻
She is extremely sweet natured, loyal, quiet, gentle and enjoys pats and cuddles. She is a super gentle girl that loves to sleep in the sun and lounge around the house with you, she requires a comfy indoor home with a family that will continue to love her through her last few years.🤞🏻🐶
Being the oldest girl at the facility, she gets quickly fed up with the other dogs and would much rather be the only dog in her new home to soak up all the much deserved attention, she is a super mature soft soul looking for a retirement home that she can settle in and finally experience the good life that she deserves.🤩 🥳
Due to her age she has a few lumps and bumps, and has recently had a full health check with the vet and a blood test which has shown with no suprise slight changes with her liver simply due to her age, even with her new diagnosis she still has so much life to live! The vet does recommend her to start on liver supplements such as denosyl in her new home to make her more comfortable. 🎀👀
Given her health, age and previous life experiences, Chelsea needs a nice quiet home and the love and support from people who will allow her indoor access at all times. She does not need a lot of space to exercise but will need indoor access with a big comfy bed to laze around in. She does love to go on walks and gets very excited when she sees the lead and despite her age still is always keen for her daily walks!✨❤️
The lucky person who adopts Chelsea will have the privilege of giving a dog who has had a tough life some happy years in comfort. 🥰
Please call council on 1300 176 077 🏘📞 ☎️ to book in a meet and greet with the beautiful Chelsea! 😍

The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
