Hi I'm Betty, I am a True Blue Aussie, Blue Speckled Female Australian Cattle Dog with a stumpy tail and I am just 1 years old.

I am best suited to a home away from the hustle and bustle, I like it quiet. I love to run, when my foster carer lets me off the lead, I run and run and run, she said I am like the cattle dog Forrest Gump! I am looking for someone who needs me, needs a companion to spend the day with them, be their backup, to be the one who gets them out and about.

I love to interact with my foster mum and I am very loyal and follow her around everywhere. I have been exposed to horses and I am not at all bothered by them. I would prefer to be an only doggo, that way I get all the attention! However, I am okay with some dogs once I get to know them and I am getting to meet a few now as my foster sisters have loads of friends. With a proper dog introduction, I am learning other dogs are good friends so if you can give me the training, I would love to grow old with fur and human friends.

I am a sweet friendly girl, a little shy at first but I make friends easily if you are good to me and love me. I am well behaved on walks and on the lead, I never wander off and I come when I am called. For recall I am a gold star responder.

I am really a typical cattle dog from nose tip to tail. Heaps of energy but also love a good long snooze. Loyal to my person to the absolute core and a bit protective of them. A really good alerting dog, will bark when people approach the property but can easily be called away. Love a swim, a play, a ball chase and of course hours of snuggles.

I am learning to sit patiently while my dinner is being prepared and wait to be told that I can eat it. I have some basic training like sit, but you are welcome to teach me some new things. I am also learning that I am allowed to play and I know what a ball is now.

I am crate trained and currently sleep in my crate but I can also sleep all night in my dog bed in the lounge. I am also very good in the car and just love to look out as the world goes by.
